In-person birding festivals and other events
September 13, 2021
One of the great ways to meet other birders, as well as to learn more about birding itself and the many useful options for binoculars, books, and other helpful items and resources to enhance your experience of it, are birding festivals. From small local one-day events held in community centers, in local parks, and at nature preserves, to enormous international gatherings such as the British BirdFair that draw tens of thousands of attendees from all around the world, these festivals are a well-established tradition in the birding community.
Of course, recent world events have put many of these events on hiatus until it becomes safer to gather together in large groups. Celestron, always putting safety first, very much respects these temporary cessations of such events, and looks forward to the time when they can be held once again and we can renew old friendships and show new friends all the new optics and other items we’ve recently created.
At this time, only one event at which we regularly exhibit is being held for 2021: the Cape May Fall Festival in Cape May, New Jersey. John Riutta, Celestron’s product development manager for binoculars, spotting scopes, and other birding related items, as well as an long-time avid birder and naturalist, will be present to display and demonstrate Celestron’s products to any and all who are interested in them.
We hope to be able to tell you very soon about more events at which we will be present in 2022. Please check back regularly, and monitor our social media channels, for updates as they develop,
