30-Day Return Policy
You may return unused items for a refund within 30 days from the date of delivery.
To start a return, obtain an RMA number through our online Returns Form or by contacting our Customer Service team. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box. Returns must be received by Celestron within 15 days of RMA issuance.
To be eligible for a refund, the product must be returned in its original packaging and in resalable, like-new condition. Celestron reserves the right to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee if these conditions are not met. If the product is improperly packaged and arrives damaged—resulting in optical and/or cosmetic defects—Celestron may assess a higher restocking fee or decline the return entirely.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and ensuring the package arrives at Celestron. We strongly recommend using an insured shipping method with tracking or delivery confirmation, as Celestron is not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.
Once received and inspected, eligible returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to 30 days to appear on your billing statement.
Defective Product Returns
If you find your item is defective upon receipt, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To start a return, obtain a prepaid shipping label through our online Returns Form or by contacting our Customer Service team. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping box.
The item must arrive in the original packaging and in the same condition it was received so that Celestron staff may inspect it for manufacturing defects. If a defective item sustains additional damage in return transit due to obviously improper packaging, Celestron may assess a restocking fee or decline the return entirely.
If Celestron determines that the returned item is not defective, the cost of the prepaid shipping label will be deducted from the refund.
Important: If you choose to return a defective item without using a prepaid label provided by Celestron, you will not be reimbursed for the return shipping costs.
